On April 11th, Vero Heritage hosted the 2026 Deeply Rooted Gala. This unique event celebrated the young people in the county who are actively involved in their pioneer families’ business, community involvement and leadership.

Dan Richey moderated a lively panel of these five celebrants.

Our live auction was orchestrated by Wesley Davis.
There was also a silent auction, alfresco dining with Wild Thyme Catering and open bar.

Proceeds from this event have been placed into a restricted Historic Preservation fund for Vero Heritage Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates and maintains the Vero Heritage Center and Indian River Citrus Museum. The building is a registered national landmark built in 1935.
